River Red Gum
Eucalyptus camaldulensis
Parts Used: Kino (Botanical Gum or Sap)

Medicinal Uses: Kino is astringent and has been used in cases of diarrhoea in the dosage of 0.3-1.3 g of kino mixed with water and drunk. An infusion of leaves and twigs have been used to bathe the head for colds and fevers.

Maximum Height: Thirty Metres
​
Growing Conditions: any soil type; drought resistant but best on river banks and flood plains.
